We all know how hectic the end of year can be as a teacher, but I always make a special spot on my to-do list to fit in preparing a little end of year student gift. If you’re looking for some end of year gift ideas, you’re in the right place! I’ve even got some FREE matching gift tags for you to pair with them.

Since I LOVE read-alouds and gifting is my love language, I thought… why not marry them together into an end of year moment to have with the kiddos! Each of these fun gifts were inspired by the picture books in the photo. On the final day together, gather the kids for a great story and share the goodies.

*Note: these items were from Target $1 spot, but I’m sure you can find similar items at the Dollar Tree as well*

$1 Beach balls are always a fun and classic idea! When I taught 4th grade, we did a signature beach ball! The adorable flamingo you see was something new that I found in the dollar spot year. It squirts water. 🙂

Goldfish crackers are always an affordable idea! I found a box of 20 for $8 at Target

A kids cup and lemonade packets! The cups are the taller of the pillowfort brand (6 colors for $3) and a 10 pack of lemonade was around $2.50. For a class of 23, $17 isn’t too shabby.

I love kinetic sand but it’s so pricey! So, I was very pleased to find these $1 packs of building sand this year in Bullseyes’s Playground. If my memory serves me right… there were 3-4 different scents.

Kids SUNNIES for $1! In the past, I’ve done a sunglasses graduation photo with the phrase “my future looks bright” on a sign that the kids hold. They’ve always rocked some shades and LOVED it. These $1 shades would make a great addition and keepsake.
