Welcome to Primary Scouts. I help K-1 teachers spark creativity in the classroom through educational crafts, read alouds and hands on learning activities.
I’m passionate about making learning FUN and helping littles build a strong foundation to support them for years to come!

- Kindergarten Teacher – where my passion and creativity collide
- 4th Grade Math Teacher – why I went into teaching, where I started & discovered my calling to positively impact the foundation of learning & to Kindergarten I went!
- Librarian – book purchasing, kindergarten support & serving Pre-K to 6th in the School Library with curriculum aligned library lessons
- 2019 Trailblazer Teacher – A district level, elementary school award that highlights innovative teaching & student results – received as a Kindergarten teacher
- Distinguished Ranked Kindergarten Teacher – The Highest Tier of Texas Teacher Evaluations
- District Level Presenter – Led multiple (district wide) professional development sessions for K-1 teachers on creative classroom instruction ideas
- District Curriculum Support – Given a paid opportunity to assist with re-writing (district level) Kindergarten Math Curriculum
- Co-founder – Inaugural robotics club (campus level) serving 3rd to 6th graders
- Member – District Level Leadership Team (Librarian) and District Level STEM Team (Kindergarten)
- Graduate – BA from UT Dallas & Master’s of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University
