October Writing Prompts and Crafts for Kindergarten

Filed Under: crafts, October Leave a Comment

Welcome October with a meaningful craft! Do you craft with your students the start of the month? It’s definitely a fun way to instantly get meaningful decoration for the bulletin board. And this laid back style of craft offers an unexpected twist… making it perfect for welcoming a new month or as a “Fun Friday” activity.

October Writing Craft Toppers

Ok, so here’s that twist I mentioned… These writing/handwriting pages have an element of interest that’s going to visually pull kiddos in. Student writing supports a “prompt” that’s disguised as a maze, a spot the difference scene, a picture prompt or directed drawing.

There’s even a tracing calendar as a choice!

Each topper has 7 different writing page options

And to TOP it off (literally), the matching craft is a simple cut & paste topper that pastes directly to the top of the writing worksheet of choice. The set has two toppers. I think one is perfect to start the month off with a calendar and save the other one for a Fun Friday activity later in the month.

No matter how you use them inside your classroom, I hope your kiddos enjoy this fun style of craft.

October Writing with a twist…“FUN FRIDAY” just got
even better with this unique writing craft duo!
