Filed Under: Fall Leave a Comment

Add some seasonal flair to your students scissor practice with scissor skill challenge cards! This set of practice sheets feature 5 Fall themes: apple tree, spider, ghost, scarecrow, and  turkey!

Fall Scissor Skill Cards

Scissor snipping practice is ongoing in Kindergarten and helps students develop strong fine motor muscles! This skill is most commonly practiced when intertwined with crafts and simple cut & paste box style worksheets. But with the use of scissor skill challenges, students are given another layer of cutting practice along very unique, detailed lines and sometimes challenging ones for little hands to maneuver through.

Some possible ways to use these Scissor Practice Sheets:

  • Dedicated Scissor Practice Time
  • Monthly Challenge
  • Fine Motor or Art Center Activity
  • Early Finisher Activity
  • Morning Bin Activity
  • RTI: Scissor Support
  • Pair with a Read Aloud

120 Scissor Challenge Cards spread over 5 Autumn themes! These themes are perfect for a monthly activity in September, October and November!
