If you’re on the search for meaningful Fall crafts for your kindergarten or first grade classroom you’re in the right place! I’m passionate about connecting little learners with academic crafts, so I’ve rounded up a big variety of them for Fall. In this post, I’m breaking down different styles and highlighting what makes each type unique. The 30 crafts included in this round up will definitely keep students busy and bulletin boards happy from September to November. I hope this breakdown can help you find a fun craft for your specific classroom needs this season!

One Page Templates
One Page Crafts for Fall – this collection of crafts are going to be the lowest prep of all! The craft template prints to just 1 regular size printer page. Students will color, cut and assemble. And if you enjoy adding a writing component, each craft comes with pre-made prompts or editable title options using PowerPoint. Since these are not book specific, you can pair these with any book/activity you’d like. There’s 16 different options of this one page style. If you enjoy variety & flexible use – this collection of crafts has it! These resources come as single crafts or can be found in this $10 savings bundle.

How To Writing
Fall How to Crafts – This collection is great if you want to connect procedural writing practice to real world activities that take place during the Fall. This type of craft also provides exposure to seasonal activities that all littles may not be familiar with – making it great for building working knowledge/associated vocabulary. These crafts focus on 4-step sequence of events picture tiles. The Caramel Apple, Pumpkin Pie and Pumpkin come as singles or in this savings trio!
Fall Life Cycles
Life Cycle Crafts – connect life science to a craft with a life cycle study! This collection has options for popular Fall plant and critter life cycles – apple, bat, spider, pumpkin, sunflower and turkey. Students will sequence stages directly on to the craft and can practice writing about the stages on one of the included writing printables. These resources come in singles or in this savings bundle.
Read Aloud Crafts
Comprehension Crafts – This collection of crafts tie back to a read aloud and also includes reading worksheets that support core comprehension skills! For this style of craft, I like using them after multiple days of digging into a mentor text with students. This way, students have time to practice the story elements and be familiar with the story before showing what they know on the craft! Here are some of my favorites to sprinkle in during the Fall season. (Pictures are clickable and will take you to TPT)

Toppers and Worksheet Writing
Craft Toppers and Fun Writing – this is my newest set and current passion project! It’s a simple style craft topper that pairs best with colored paper. The “prompt” style is less traditional than all of the others featured in this post because it has a “fun style” worksheet format that serves as the “prompt”. I like this style for celebrating the start of a new month and pairing with a tracing calendar (included). These could also work as a multi day morning work activity or a fun Friday activity. There will be more to come with this style – so stay tuned! This craft duo is in my new September resource.
